Falls Campground – Beyond all of the basic camping amenities, including a diverse selection of campsites and settings for everything from tents to RV's, Falls Campground offers several unique features which can only be found where water constantly cascades over sandstone rock formations. These include the soothing and mellowing sound of water tumbling over the falls, the mesmerizing sight of white water swirling between the rocks, a private sandy beach for kicking back and soaking up the sun or fishing. There are 66 full service campsites with electric and water, 42 primitive campsites, 3 cabins and 2 deluxe suites (bath, kitchenette, TV and heating and air). Campground includes laundry room LP gas, General Store, and cable TV available. Limited winter camping

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park - The fieldstone lodge at this resort is named in honor of poet laureate Jesse Hilton Stuart (1906-1984) and native of Greenup County. Most of the 36 rooms feature private patios and balconies that overlook Greenbo Lake. The 232-seat dining room offers a relaxing environment for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The campground features 63 sites with utility hook-ups and 35 primitive sites. Winding through the surrounding hillsides are over 25 miles of hiking trails. While the lake appeals to anyone interested in fishing, canoeing or boat rentals.

Grayson Lake State Park - The 1,512 acres of Grayson Lake State Park consists of sheer sandstone canyons and gentle slopes. This site was a favorite camping area for Shawnee and Cherokee Indians and you will discover why with a visit to the park’s spacious, 71-site campground with utility hook-ups. The newly built 18-hole golf course, Hidden Cove, was named one of the "2004 Best New Affordable Courses" by "Golf Digest" magazine. The lake offers a marina with everything you need for a great day on the lake: rental fishing boats and pontoon boats. In addition to the marina, the lake offers areas for swimming, fishing or picnicking. Also two large picnic shelters are available for rental up to one year in advance.

Carter Caves State Resort Park - Beneath the forested hills of this resort, nature has hidden more than 20 twisting caverns. Above ground, enjoy a relaxing game of golf on our 9-hole golf course, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking on 20 miles of single and multi-use trails. In addition to the beautiful fieldstone Lewis Caveland Lodge offers 28 rooms with full amenities, and a 96-seat dining room. The resort also offers ten rustic cottages, eight have wood-burning fireplaces, all equipped with modern conveniences such as dishwashers and microwave ovens. The campground features 89 campsites with utilities, a dump station, and two central service buildings with restrooms and showers.

Yatesville Lake State Park - Yatesville Lake State Park has a variety of campsites to suit anyone’s idea of "roughing it," including double-wide sites for two RVs and boat-in, primitive sites. The 2,300-acre lake offers the chance to catch some rays in your favorite cruisecraft, be it a houseboat, pontoon, speed boat or jet ski. The Yatesville Marina, named the nation's “Most Outstanding Project” in 1999 by the States Outdoor Boating Association, offers everything boaters and fishers need for lake fun. Back on shore, enjoy challenging play on the park’s new 18-hole par-71 Eagle Ridge golf course. The course, built on mountainous terrain, features dramatic views and is part of the Kentucky State Park System's "Signature Series" of golf courses.

Paintsville Lake State Park - Paintsville Lake gleams like a jewel in the crown of eastern Kentucky. With steep cliffs and wooded coves along the shoreline, this lake provides 1,140 acres of boating, skiing and fishing pleasure. After a day on the lake, relax in the campground, featuring 32 developed sites in addition to the 10 primitive sites with restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. There are playgrounds, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court and basketball courts. Two of the RV sites are adapted for the disabled. A full-service marina is near the campground, offering rental houseboats, pontoons and fishing boats.
